Mentoring of small and medium enterprises

Link Up! Serbia II envisages development of the mentorship programme scheme for small and medium enterprises in Serbia. The scheme includes 5 mentorship programmes, each of which uses the knowledge and skills of entrepreneurial diaspora, ICMPD experts, successful managers from DACH markets and local partners (RDAs, clusters). Mentorship programmes will empower small and medium enterprises to align their business with DACH markets and potential partners in or through diaspora.

The goals of the mentorship programmes are to increase the competitiveness and capacities of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Serbia, as well as to ensure better access to markets of Austria, Germany and Switzerland (DACH countries).

Mentorship programmes will be implemented by members of the entrepreneurial diaspora, owners and managers of Austrian companies in Serbia, regional development agencies (RDAs), cluster managers and experts from the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). One of the results of the project will be a policy proposal for the Government of the Republic of Serbia on diaspora mentorship, developed by ICMPD, RDAs and diaspora experts.
